The Challenge
The Pittsburgh Sport and Exhibition Authority was planning an extraordinary new event space in the heart of the city along the iconic Pittsburgh waterfront, the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
To build excitement in the community and begin marketing the center, they needed a way to showcase the final product to exhibitors while it was still under construction.
This presented a challenge for their marketing team – how would they do the center justice in their sales presentations and book new business without real photos?
The Cadnetics Solution
The marketing and sales team behind the David L. Lawrence Convention Center needed a stunning visual tool to make booking events an easy sell to exhibitioners, so they could start bringing in new business ASAP.
Our talented visualization team at Cadnetics developed a stunning fly-through animation, leading the project from initial storyboarding to final edit. Working closely with the architects, Rafael Vinoly and Associates, they created a life-like computer model to simulate the dramatic experience of the new convention center.
The final deliverable was the polished cut of the animation and a variety of still photos, ready to wow clients in sales presentations.
