Cadnetics provides customized training for a variety of Autodesk products. Once we determine a clients needs, our instructors create a detailed program schedule based on the level of expertise of each student, the programs being taught, and the time frame of the training period. Since we tailor each training experience to the specific requirements of each client, no time or money is wasted teaching unnecessary information. We offer classes to individuals or groups onsite in the client’s office or in our offices, wherever the client is more comfortable. A prominent Pittsburgh architectural firm decided it was neccessary to update their CAD software from AutoCAD 14 to AutoCAD 2000. This also entailed the re-training of 10 staff members in the new software. Cadnetics was contracted to develop a program that could best facilitate the changeover. After evaluating each employees’ skill level, three training groups were established that included: 4 staff members who had advanced CAD skills, 3 staff members who used CAD regularly, and 3 staff members who had little CAD experience. Course booklets were created for each group and a schedule was created, outlining the entire training period. Over the next eight weeks, the instructor visited the client's office each day and spent four hours training each group. At the end of the course, each employee was asked to evaluate the coursework and instructor. This information not only provided insight into our methods, but also offered some suggestions as to how we can make our methods more effective. The client was very pleased with the outcome and stated that a trained professional who uses these programs made all the difference. |
