Crown Castle owns, operates and manages transmission towers and rooftop sites, which it provides to the wireless communications, radio, and television broadcasting industries. Crown Castle developed a new standardized CAD template for it's sites and towers, which neccessitated the conversion of thousands of files. Cadnetics was chosen to help with the conversion. The process entailed downloading files from client's FTP site, converting to new template, updating redlines, and resubmitting finals, the entire process taking no longer than 48 hours. The three month commitment involved the conversions of approximately 80 sites per week. Each site required a plan view, tower elevations, and mount levels. Cadnetics dedicated a staff of 7 CAD operators to the project. |
