| Cadnetics has extensive background measuring buildings including schools, hospitals, houses, apartment buildings, office buildings, churches, warehouses, etc. Our staff utilizes handheld lasers and laptops onsite to produce accurate, architect ready drawings. Once we survey a site, we are done with the project. This method eliminates discrepancies and unnecessary return trips. What separates us from our competitors is not only the tools we use, but the experience and expertise of our staff. |
The Copley Hotel in South Beach, Miami, was in need of a facelift. Having been built in 1939, and most probably renovated since then, there were no accurate plans for the existing property. Architect Kobi Karp needed a foundation upon which to re-design the hotel, and needed it quickly. Since he could not spare in-house staff due to workload, Cadnetics was assigned the task. With a weeks notice, Cadnetics assembled a team necessary to survey the 40,000 square foot structure, and was onsite the following weekend. Using laptops and lasers, the Cadnetics team was able to acquire the needed dimensions in the partially occupied hotel over the course of two days. Having the ability to enter data into CAD, as it is being recorded, is a valuable time-saver. Discrepencies are resolved immediately, thus avoiding the need for costly return trips. Accurate floor plans were submitted to the architect on Monday morning. The old Copley Hotel can now be re-born as the Art Deco District's newest jewel, Circa 39. |
