| Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the latest development in the AEC Community. The BIM process begins with the creation of 3-dimensional models to accurately represent the designs of Architects and Engineers. Construction Documents are created directly from these models, ensuring greater accuracy in the final drawings. All of the models can be coordinated with each other to identify areas of conflict or concern in the design. The models can also be turned over to a Contractor, who can then use the models to schedule and budget the project more accurately. At the end of construction, as-built models can then be passed onto the owner to use to maintain their facility. These models can also be used to create Virtual Tours and Renderings, which is another area that Cadnetics specializes in. |
